From siena there are three possible variants. We definitely prefer the central one, which involves going along the Cassia (SR2)

From Rome, the choice depends very much on the neighborhood from which you start. We prefer the one that involves the Aurelia (SS1) and the Rome-Civitavecchia highway (E80)

Exit Pitigliano south side in the direction of Sorano
Bivio Sovana - Manciano
At the fork, continue straight on Provincial Road Pian della Madonna.
Bivio Sorano - Sovana
When you reach the junction indicating Sorano on the right and Soavana on the left, continue straight ahead. From here follow the signs for PoggioBa (900 m).

Take the Sovana Provincial Road (SP22) in the direction of Sovana
Bivio Pitigliano
When you reach the junction indicating Pitigliano on the left, turn right and from here follow the signs for PoggioBa (900 m)
